Funding for Researchers

Having the financial support from people like you makes it possible for these valuable Cerebral Palsy research projects to get off the ground and improve lives today and into the future.

Each year The Research Foundation of Cerebral Palsy Alliance invites researchers to submit funding applications to its Grants Program.

The Research Foundation has a strong on-going commitment to funding high quality research into the prevention, treatment and cure of cerebral palsy.

Since 2006, the Research Foundation has awarded more than $27 million into supporting 258 Cerebral Palsy research projects in Australia and internationally.

From 2016, the Grants Program is supported by the Research Foundation of Cerebral Palsy Alliance based in Australia, and Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation in the USA. As a result, researchers who are based in the USA are able to submit their proposed budget in US dollars. All other international applicants will need to submit their budget in AU dollars.

Two types of grants are offered:

  • Project Grant
  • Career Development Grant
