A Woman of Influence
The Research Foundation’s Macquarie Group Foundation Chair of Cerebral Palsy Professor Nadia Badawi AM has been announced a winner in the ‘100 Women of Influence Awards‘ for 2014.
Prof. Badawi AM has been recognised in the Global Influence category for her contribution in leading international research into cerebral palsy prevention and cure, as well as her contribution to ensuring educational opportunities in developing countries through her support of the School for Life Foundation.
Now in its 3rd year, The Australian Financial Review and Westpac ‘100 Women of Influence Awards’ celebrate outstanding women from a wide variety of sectors across Australia.
Prof. Badawi will attend a gala event at Sydney’s Town Hall later this month, where the overall winner for the year will be announced.
